Some believe that you can not improve perfection, but we think differently. Jasper 25 mkII is a distillation of our passion and will to constantly raise the bar even higher. We refined and carefully calibrated the technical characteristics of the set, including bass-reflex tuning and filter adjustments, which resulted in a sound that is exceptionally coherent, musically immersive, and profoundly detailed across the entire frequency spectrum. The woofer’s range is broader and better controlled, resulting in a diverse, perfectly handled bottom end. The midrange is saturated and rich with greater neutrality and musicality, while the natural treble tops the whole. All of that is encapsulated in the visually striking and exquisitely finished body that, at the same time, improves the sound quality even further.
Carefully selected drivers for ultimate sound
At the core of the new Jasper 25 mkII are the same drivers as in its predecessor – proven drivers from Danish Scan-Speak, carefully selected based on a series of acoustic measurements and subjective tests. A pair of legendary 18 cm Revelators is responsible for the midrange and the low end. Their characteristic notches reduce diaphragm distortion and dissipate its standing waves. The top is entrusted to a silk dome tweeter with one of the lightest vibrating systems in speakers of this type, with the dome weighing only 0.18 g. It delivers extreme speed, undistorted details, and lightness in reproducing the finest nuances of the record.
Stunning looking, acoustically perfect
Years of experience, supported by extensive research facilities, including an anechoic chamber and laser accelerometer, have enabled us to create perfect working conditions for the drivers. They are housed in a rigid body, crafted from high-grade, thick MDF boards, with the front and back made in “sandwich” technology. With additional reinforcements, the enclosure is free of any resonances that negatively affect the sound. The characteristic curved front and back prevent the formation of standing waves in the enclosure and equalize the acoustic centers of the speakers in the crucial mid-high range section, which translates into the consistency of presentation and stage.
