Bob’s Blog - Reference Audio are pleased to announce a Chord Electronics Open Day event and Product Launch on Saturday 7th and Sunday 8th May 2022.

Open days should be informative, educational, interesting and most of all they should be enjoyable. That’s why Bob, Adam and Mitch at Reference Audio will be hosting this prestigious event at our showroom in Witham, Essex alongside Chord Electronics who will be in attendance throughout the event to give advice on their products and to answer questions.

The open day will showcase the full extent of Chord Electronics current range of products and some you won’t have seen before across our 5 permanent demo rooms.

We’re delighted that our main Reference Room will be featuring Chord’s rarely seen ‘Big-Rig’ system comprising the amazing Ultima Reference Pre and Ultima Reference Monobloc power amps, 780w of pure Chord power on tap to drive some of our best speakers. Our three upstairs Demo Rooms will feature Ultima Pre 2 and Ultima 3 Monoblocs together with a variety of other Chord Electronics products including their streamers, DACs, upscalers, integrated amps and lifestyle products. Most will be being used for continuous live demos whilst others will be on rotational static display. This is probably the only occasion this year that you’ll be able to see and hear Chord Electronics entire portfolio of products in one live event. A day not to be missed and a day to remember.

And as a first for Reference Audio, Chord Electronics will be showing a brand-new Ultima Product at the Open Day, we can’t say too much about what this might be before the event so come along to find out.

We have plenty of off-street parking spaces available, great coffee and refreshments. You’ll also be able to see and hear many of the other products we have on permanent demonstration and during the afternoon we’ll be firing up our Cinema Room with its 4m screen. Several customers have already likened our new store to a mini-HI-Fi show so come along and see for yourself.
